Mission Statement
At the Phil Kronenburg School for the arts we strive to create a supportive and enriching environment for our students that will impact them long after their time with us. Nestled in the heart of Queens, our school caters to 500 brilliant students in grades 9-12. Our small class sizes and arts-integrated approach to learning fosters a secondary education environment that is distinctly unique. Students graduate from the Phil Kronenburg School with a sense of identity, an understanding of their talents, and essential tools required to make a difference in the world. Distinguished teachers of our school are dedicated to immersing students in the arts throughout the curriculum. They firmly believe in the power an arts-integrated focus has to develop critical thinking, intrinsic motivation, an emotional outlet, and a deeper understanding of content. Students are given numerous opportunities to share their talents with both the school and the community through performance ensembles, the Kronenburg Theater company, and a fully-operational culinary arts space. The Phil Kronenburg School believes in the power education has to transform lives, communities and the world. We hope you can join us form this transformation.
